Our Mission

The mission of Pain Care Associates is to decrease pain and allow our patients to once again participate in life. Our multidisciplinary and team-oriented approach to pain care has been successful in relieving suffering, improving function, and quickly returning many patients to work and a more active lifestyle. Even when pain is not eliminated completely, lifestyle is often improved dramatically and in most cases, health care costs are also decreased.

Our Approach

We approach pain as both a symptom and a diagnosis and our primary goal is to determine the underlying reason for why our patients are in pain. A thorough history and physical examination are performed and the findings are combined with diagnostic testing to determine if there is a mechanical or anatomic abnormality present. Nervous system dysfunction is also evaluated. Once the evaluation is complete, a customized multidisciplinary treatment plan is started. Many of our patients also have the opportunity to participate in research studies allowing early access to cutting edge treatments before availability to the general public.
